Our Careteam

Veterinary Technician
Misty didn’t have many pets while growing up in Dahlonega, Georgia, and she wasn’t entirely sure just how she felt about animals. When she got her first pet about 12 years ago, it was love at first sight! Now Misty is a full-time veterinary professional here at Town and Country Animal Hospital.

Misty first heard about an open kennel position here at the clinic from her daughter, and jumped at the chance to apply. She was hired on January 1st, 2009, and has happily been serving the pets and owners of the area ever since. In addition to her Technician work, Misty has worked in the front-desk area, helped out in the kennels, and has even fixed a doorknob or two around the hospital!

At home, Misty and her boyfriend live with five Chihuahuas—Stinky, Squirt, Fuzzy, Spint, and Joshua—as well as a rescued hound dog named Mama Dog.
Veterinary Assistant, Kennel Technician
Chrissy has been a personal pet sitter for many years, so a career in an animal clinic was a natural and fulfilling move for her. Every day, she gets to work alongside her fellow animal-loving coworkers to help pets lead happier, healthier lives!

Chrissy grew up on a small farm near Athens, Georgia, and joined the Town and Country Animal Hospital team in 2014 after a friend of hers mentioned an open position. For Chrissy, it was the perfect next step in her caregiving career! She especially enjoys interacting with clients, working with the clinic’s boarding pets, and learning something new every day.

At home, Chrissy lives with her dog, Amber, a pair of cats named Emory and Druid, and the family’s newest addition: BeBop, a wildly spirited kitten who adds an immediate spark to the household. When she isn’t spending time with her pets or caring for animals here at the hospital, Chrissy is an avid volunteer and has held volunteer positions in various areas throughout the years. She was even named “most caring” in her college class! Chrissy also enjoys writing, and has even had a few pieces of poetry and prose published.
Although she had always had a soft spot for animals, Lisa never suspected that she would wind up working in the veterinary field. When she started at her first clinic several years ago, that all changed—Lisa knew right away that she wanted to help as many pets as she possibly could! Now, she’s proud to serve the area’s pet owners as a receptionist here at Town and Country Animal Hospital.

Lisa grew up right here in Mount Airy, less than a mile from the hospital’s location. She first started working at another local hospital in 2008, and has been a veterinary professional ever since. Lisa joined the team at Town and Country Animal Hospital in late 2015, and she has a special fondness for doting on happy dogs after successful treatments.

Outside of work, Lisa is an avid motorcyclist and loves traveling across the country whenever the opportunity presents itself. She has one dog of her own at home, Haidi, as well as a pair of goats who go by Willie and Waylon.
Kennel Technician
Allison has been a pet owner all her life, and her family’s animal companions have brought her immeasurable joy over the years. She’s always wanted to give something back! As a member of Town and Country Animal Hospital’s kennel staff, Allison gets to do just that.

Allison was born in Habersham and moved to White County with her family in the third grade. She’s thrilled to begin her journey in animal care right here at the clinic—she became a member of the hospital team in February of 2017 and couldn’t be happier. Allison’s favorite part of the job is being greeted by wagging tails on a daily basis!

Allison is currently a student at North Georgia Technical College. When time permits between her busy school and work schedules, she loves to read and spend time with her own pets at home. She has a Bichon Frise/poodle mix named Sophie, who is full of energy and loves to meet new people, as well as an affectionate cat named Smokey.
Receptionist, Kennel Technician
Alondra has always suspected that a job working hands-on with animals at a veterinary clinic would suit her perfectly. When the opportunity arose for her to join Town and Country Animal Hospital’s care team, she didn’t hesitate! Alondra is proud to better the lives of pets and their owners every day as a receptionist and Kennel Technician.

Born and raised in Georgia, Alondra joined the Town and Country Animal Hospital family in August of 2017 after hearing about an open position from her sister. She continues to learn something new every day, and loves to help patients on the road to recovery and see the final results of the team’s work. Having a lasting impact on the life of an animal keeps Alondra’s job both interesting and memorable!

Alondra’s interests outside of animal care include singing, dancing, reading, attending concerts, and spending time with her family. Along with her mother and four siblings, she shares her life with a wonderfully loyal and intelligent dog named Molly.
